Big fight at PDP Sorbeh
It has been revealed to this paper that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Sorbeh PDP is presently embroiled in a serious tussle for a leadership position.
A party source who spoke to this reporter explained that they have sacked the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the party because he did not live up to their expectations.
Talking to this reporter, the dismissed PRO, who said he was elected by the members of the party at a convention, explained that the manner which their Leader, Mr. Gibrilla Kamara is running the party affairs is very unpleasant and not in consonance with their constitution.
According to the spokesman of the party, Mr. Algassim Sesay also explained that Mr. Gibrilla Kamara is running the party like his personal property.
He revealed that Mr. Gibrilla Kamara to write a letter to the National Electoral Commission explaining that he had been sacked and should quite the National PPLC Conference meeting on November 6 this year.
He further stated that the said letter was not copied to him as Spokesman of the party.
He also explained that he has not been allowed to represent the party in the political discussions.
He maintained that Mr. Gibrilla Kamara is afraid of people’s potentials which, he said, was the reason why he was abusing the power that was given to him.
