Rodney Strasser delighted over parents wedding anniversary
Leone Stars and Regina FC Midfielder, Rodney Strasser, in a telephone conversation from Italy expressed delight over his parent’s 30th wedding anniversary this week.
“My dad, James Strasser, got married to Aminata in November 1983 and today they are blessed with several children at home and abroad. I pray that God will continue to bless them, give them long life, good health and prosperity,” he told this newspaper.
He stated that he was very thankful to them for all what they have done for him by bringing him up and giving him a great future.
“Today I am a football icon playing for one of the best clubs in the world known as AC Milan. I will forever continue to support my parents and when I get in Freetown in December, I will throw a big party for them because they are special people in my life; and I also thank my brothers and sisters who are protecting and making them always happy at home,” he enthused.
His dad, Pa James Strasser played for the East End Lions Football Club before leaving for international football.
