Pop King to storm Bo

The rising King of Pop of the world, Sierra Leonean born General Sfano and his newly formed dancing group will on Friday 1st March storm Bo City, southern Sierra Leone ,to stage a musical concert in a bid to raise awareness and funds for the inception of a funding agency known as Sfano-Michael Jackson Children’s Development Fund.

Regional coordinator, south, Ishmeal Vandi Aruna, disclosed to this press that the singer and dancer will be gracing his homeland’s university college convocation ceremony for the first time in history and moreover, will further promote the Sfano-Michael Jackson Children’s Home infrastructural project at Njala community.

“Several youths from all works of life within the Southern Region are now giving their support to General Sfano and his up-coming funding agency SFAMJACFUND,”Mr. Aruna revealed.

“We are working as a team to ensure Mr. Sfano Njawa Sesay has enough evidence of developmental initiatives before leaving for the United States of America to meet with the Jackson family and the American people which move will bring another grace to the people of this country,” Mr. Aruna said. He noted that, they are grateful for the developmental trend General Sfano has taken as this is expected to alleviate the plight of vulnerable children.

He further disclosed that most of the members working voluntarily with SFAMJACFUND within the Southern Region are college students and lecturers who believe in the dream of the rising king of pop of the world. “It is proving itself that through the Sfano-Michael Jackson Children’s Development Fund, General Sfano will bring more hope to the children in the Diaspora, complementing the efforts of other funding agencies like: Global Funds, DFID, USAID, IMF, WORLD BANK, CHILD FUND among others,” Aruna remarked.

“General Sfano’s performance in the Southern province at this time is a strategy to raise awareness for the funding agency, promote his newly produced musical album “Better Late than Never” and to further raise funds that will help in the smooth running of the funding agency’s planned activities,” Mr. Aruna stated.

He disclosed that the king of pop will perform for and with the children of Bo on the 2nd of March, between 1:00pm – 6:00pm to encourage these children have a sense of unity and love for one another. “Sfano will further perform for the general fans of Sfano-Michael Jackson at the same venue in Bo in the night of that same day,” he informed.

“We are seeking support from the government of Sierra Leone, the local and international communities and donor agencies through SFAMJACFUND for the good of the people of this country, especially the vulnerable youth and the children,” Mr. Aruna concluded.
