Anti Violence March in Bo
It has been reported that an anti-violence march will take place on the 5th December 2009 in Bo city, southern province. The anti-violence march which is being organized by the young people in Dreams and Teams and Connecting Classrooms Projects, came about as a result of the increasing nature of violent activities in the country.
111 Treatment centres for HIV Patients
Director for the National HIV/Aids Secretariat, Dr. Brima Kargbo, said that the secretarial has set up 111 treatment centres for HIV/Aids patients. He added that people living with the disease need to have the correct and quality treatment in order to live longer than expected.

Salone referees end Futuro III courses
Two Sierra Leonean referees, Alhaji Alim Sesay and John M.S. Bull with twenty others from other West African States have concluded a one week FIFA Futuro III course in Ghana. The course which attracted physical instruction started on Thursday November, 26th 2009 and ran till December 1st 2009 at the Ghana Man Soccer Centre of Excellence in Pram Pram, Ghana.
Kailahun PC demands for law courts
Honourable Mohamed Kailondo Banya paramount chief of Luawa chiefdom in the Kailahun district, has asked for the establishment of law courts in the districts. He said that the district is seriously in need of law courts in order for cases to be handled without delay in the district.
