Armed robbers attack home of movie star
One of Sierra Leone’s most popular movie stars, Aminata Natasha, recently fell into the hands of nefarious thieves commonly called armed robbers.
The robbers, according to Aminata, attacked her residence at Hill Cut Road around 1:00 a.m., put to siege inmates of the house and took away valuables worth hundreds of million Leones.
Sources say the robbers had used AK 47 rifles, machetes and other dangerous weapons.
Queen Natasha whose contributions to human rights promotion has earned her so many press praises, is said to have gone into devastation, and has called on government to chase at armed robbers wreaking untold havoc to society.
It could be recalled that the up and coming music entertainer also promoted rights of women on issues cut across leadership and public positions.
Reflections in relation to consistent armed robbery has left minds of society in ponder; having fear that youths owning automatic rifles can attack homes of defenseless families anytime any moment.
In an interview with Queen Natasha, expressed disappointment over the proliferation and possession of rifles by unknown persons also known as armed robbers.
That rifles are property of Sierra Leone Police and Military; not for the robbers as society now observed.
The movie star has called on government to embark on investigation as to how robbers access arms and ammunition.
Armed robbery, according to our findings, is said to having entrenched syndicated overindulgence of organized crime by police and army officers.
Sources say senior officers of the Operational Security Division and hand full of army personnel do have closer understandings with notorious night stalkers.
