Lady Laurish Hits Again
Sierra Leone’s most popular female artist, R. Conteh aka Lady Laurish has been in the musical industry since 2006 with her first hit titled “Lose Your Love,” and her 2008 album titled “Let’s Talk About Love.”
Since then, Lady Laurish left the shores of Sierra Leone for advance talent in the musical profession and has returned with a new album titled “Family Wahala.” Her new album is loaded with ten hot and perfect messages which will at any time marry the streets of the whole country.
According to Lady Laurish, there is much in music if you are talented and focused. She also encourages new artists that are forcing their way into music to at least know how to read and write.
Lady Laurish was working with DJ Nice who is the proprietor of Activist Record before she left the shores. When she arrived back with her new talented songs in mind, she decided to work with Viascity Records owned by Ashou Viascity, situated at Waterloo on the outskirts of Freetown.
Lady Laurish a 27 years old Sierra Leonean, attended the Dr. June Holst Primary School, Syke Street in Freetown and the Freetown Secondary School for Girls, where she sat to the WASSCE as a Commercial student.
Lady Laurish has received several awards through her competency and high dedication, amongst them, the SLMTV award in the USA, Celtel Premier Award, People’s Choice Award , and T.B.S Award, and many community awards.
