Kenema District Council Braces up for 2013

Chief Administrator of the Kenema District Council (KDC), Tamba Musa, has informed this press that the Council has held an inaugural meeting with the new Chairman, J.S. Kelfala.

While relaying the information during a recent interview with this reporter, Mr. Musa said that in the meeting held on Thursday, January 10, they discussed their plan of action for this year and deliberated on the issue of uncompleted projects and those in the pipeline. He added that they also discussed on-going projects like the construction of the Baoma Oil Mill and the Jagbema Health Centre.

The Chief Administrator noted that the meeting provided councilors and members of staff the opportunity to be familiar with their new District Council Chairman. Mr. Kelfala has succeeded Patrick Samu who is reported to have left the Council in a very messy state.
