NRA Boss Extols Balamuya Customs post
The Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority (NRA), Haja Kalla Kamara (in photo) has reacted vehemently to recent press bashing that the Balamuya Boarder Customs post has fallen short of the much expected revenue collection drive.
Haja Kalla Kamara boasted that the Balamuya post was in fact among those that pulled the highest quantum of revenue this year and the current collector Malcom Wilkinson has demonstrated an exemplary leadership which is much to the chagrin of the Authority. The Commissioner General stressed that Wilkinson is an industrious collector who does not give in to the dictates of wrong doers. She advised that the press must focus on supporting the much trumpeted Agenda for Prosperity and project the image of the country to the wider world instead of spreading bias rumors aimed at tarnishing the hard won integrity of public servants.
Madam Haja Kalla Kamara commended her team of personnel at the various collection points ranging from the Quay, Lungi International Airport, the Kambia Gbalamuya as they have so far created an impact on the revenue collection drive.
