Yada Williams and Associates Golf Tournament Ends With Several Prizes Won

On Saturday 3^rd November 2012, at the Freetown Golf Club, Lumley Beach Road, the Yada Williams and Associates Golf Tournament took place.

In the Professional category, Paul Kargbo won the championship prize with three under Par (-3), Mohamed Kamara came 2^nd with two under Par (-2) and Robert Williams came 3^rd with two over Par (+2).

In the Amateur category, Edwin Michael won the men’s best gross to win the Prestigious Championship prize and was followed by Rev. Sorie Kargbo and Paul Carvelle who took 2^nd and 3^rd position both with three under Par (-3) respectively.

In the ladies category, Ann Koroma won the championship prize with three under Par (-3) while Fatima Mullah and Agnes Gotosa came 2^nd and 3^rd respectively with both with three over Par (+3)

In the Senior Caddies competition, Osman Kamara was the winner with three over Par (+3) and in the Junior Caddies category Musa Kargbo won the championship prize with six over Par (+6).

In other individual awards, Fatima Mullah won Ladies Longest Drive, Djibo won Men’s Longest Drive prize, and Tony De slick won a prize for Nearest to the Pin.

Speaking to the chief organizer of the one week golf tournament, which commence on 29^th October and ended 3^rd November2012, he said he was very thankful for the support of the membership of the golf club and the entire guests and promised that he will annually organize the tournament.

Yada Williams who has been practicing law for 20 years thanked sponsors such as Freetown Supermarket, Sierra Leone Insurance Company, Sign Africa-Sierra Leone, Ecobank, and Union Trust Bank for their support to a colourful and successful tournament.

The tournament was climaxed with refreshments and familiarization among spectators.
