Sierra Leone Exploration Investment to Sponsor Diamond Stars FC

Dr. Olaf Grabowski and Sahr Ngegba made this pronouncement at their Juba Hills HQ office in Freetown.

Whilst addressing the Diamond Stars FC contingent including players, technical team, executive members, Paramount Chiefs and some member of the press, Vice President of African OPS Sierra Leone Exploration, said he is delighted that his home team won the 2011-12 premiership championship with a record of the first provincial team to do so.

He explained he always believed in the ability of the team saying it was no surprise to hear they were being crowned champions. He thanked the contingent for their visit pointing it as a sign of gratitude. The Vice President said he will join Octea Mining Company in supporting the team to continue it marvelous performance they being putting on the field, he ends by wishing the team success in the coming season to win championship again.

Managing Director of the company Sahr Ngegba, and Dr. Iur Olaf Grabowski promised to finance the team with the sum of $10,000 in a period of 24 months and also promised to buy a team bus in the coming season.

Team manager, Chief Paul .N. Saquee thanked Mr. Sahr Ngegba and management for their immeasurable help to the team, noting that the country needs people like them to help improve the sport of football in the country.
