London Mining Withdraws Court Case

London Mining Limited on Monday August 6th discontinued their long protracted case against the accused Mohamed Tarawally in court No.1 presided by Magistrate Steven Conteh, of the Freetown Magistrates court.

The accused, Mohamed Tarawally is said to be standing on the dock for four count charge ranging from conspiracy contrary to law, count two disorderly behavior contrary to section 12 of the Public Order Act No 46 of 1965 as amended by section 12 (0) of Act of 1976.

The accused Mohamed Tarawally is said to have conspired with other persons unknown to commit crimes some time Tuesday 20 and Sunday 25 March 2012 at the London Mining Company Site situated at Magbumle village, Marampa Chiefdom Port Loko Judicial District Northern Region of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The charge states that the accuse and others did behave in a disorderly manner, contrary to section 3 of cap (34) of amendment by section 4 and 5 of impersonation Act1975  section 13.

The plaintiff London Mining Limited has asked their prosecution attorney Miss William for a discontinuation of the said matter under Magistrates Steven Conteh.
