SLOSSA Win one, Lose one in Canada

President of the Sierra Leone Overseas Social and Soccer Association (SLOSSA) Mr. Patrick Dangawalie has told Sierra Express Media that their two days international soccer friendly match against Sierra Leonean veterans that took place in Toronto, Canada ended in a win and a loss for the visitors.

In the opening match on Saturday June 30, the visitors SLOSSA were beaten 5-2 to the surprise of the entire 30 man delegation. The visiting SLOSSA replied in the final match day on Sunday July 1, by thrashing the host 6-2 with an aggregate of 8-9.

Speaking to SLOSSA President, Patrick Dangawalie, he said, the entire delegation was pleased over the hospitality of their Sierra Leonean brothers in Canada. He said their first match was disastrous but they overcame the situation in the final match to have recorded their first defeat in the tournament.

The Ex-Old Edwardians and Leone Stars goal keeping icon told Sierra Express Media that the entire delegations have returned to their various states in England and the Untied States of America on July 2nd.
