SLOSSA Intensify Training for Canada Trip

The Sierra Leone Overseas Social and Soccer Association (SLOSSA) are currently warming up ahead of a tournament they have to attend in Canada between June 30th and July 1st 2012 against their Sierra Leonean counterparts.

SLOSSA is a group of Sierra Leoneans based in the United States of America and England that are organizing soccer matches and social activities.

Speaking to the President of the Association, in a telephone conversation from Dallas Texas, he said all modalities have been put in place to have a successful trip to Canada and that they will be traveling with a 30-man delegation.

“We’ll depart for Toronto on the 28th and 29th of this month to play two matches and the entire delegation will have to depart to their various states on July 2nd, 2012, Dangawalie stated.

“We  want to continue our unbeaten streak from our 50th Independence Anniversary record in this Canadian encounter”, he mused.

Mr. Dangawalie said the two days match against their Sierra Leonean counterparts in Canada is meant to foster and strengthen good relationship amongst them by sealing their brotherhood.

The following members are traveling with the team: Vice Chairman – Lamin Kamara, Secretary General – Leslie Allen, Head Coach – Mohamed Sasso, Captain – Sybil Decker, Vice Captain – Abu Dyfan, John Dumbuya, and Junior Parade, including former Leone Star players.
