Over Leone Stars Ranking, FA Deserves Praises – JS Keifala
Following Leone Stars ranking of 10th position in the CAF ranking list and 59th in FIFA’s world ranking, Acting FA president Joseph S. Keifala (in photo) has told Sierra Express Media Sport that the praise should come to them as executives of the country’s FA.
“If Sierra Leoneans should be happy for the country’s improved ranking in world football, they should not forget to thank and praise us, the executive because it due to our hard endeavors the ranking comes to reckon our achievements”, he told Sierra Express Media Sport.
JS Keifala said the FA is always delighted with the outstanding performance of the National team but detractors or enemies of the FA have always stood to marginalize them by not praising them, rather usher the praise to others that do not deserve it.
“When Leone Stars don’t perform well our detractors will attack us, then why not praise the FA when the team does well internationally? he queried.
All of us including the FA President, Nahim Khadi, Alie Kargbo, Abdul Amin Kanasien, Mr. Bah, Morrison Sannoh, and the entire members of the FA deserve praise for the hectic work.
“We are conscious of the fact that lots of praise is given to the players, the Sports Ministry, the Government and all Sierra Leoneans, but we the FA should be the accolade bearers”, he thought aloud.
