Public Notice: Idiosyncratic Journalism

Mr. Express wishes the General public to beware of the new born tenets of the Sierra Leone journalism. I have noticed with utter dismay that the practice of journalism has now gone personal; the major players are in a head to head battle for supremacy!

Public interest journalism is now a rare case; egocentrism and the blowing of personal horns have become the new contagion spreading madness that never existed in the noble profession.

It beats my imagination. The bad news is that we don’t have enough psychiatrists to put the madness under control and Mr. Express can only do his bit in his little corner.
