Zain reduces off-network tariff

Zain Sierra Leone, current market leaders in modern mobile telecommunications nationwide, made another significant history by reducing its tariff by 32% as a way of creating a wonderful world for all.

Speaking at the ceremony on Wednesday, 21st July, 2010 at Zain Headquarters Wilberforce, Mr. Ted Sauti Phiri, Managing Director of Zain, expressed Zain’s loyalty and commitment to its subscribers and explained that the reduction of cost of communication from Zain to other networks is a reaffirmation of the promise made by Zain to Sierra Leoneans which is to provide the best service to its customers.

He described the reduction as a sweetener added to the Fambul Tariff to make communication easier for all ‘Zain Fambul’. Mr. Phiri confirmed that Zain is internationally recognized in 15 countries with so many services to offer like ZAP, ZAC, GPRS and many more undeniably providing the best services to its subscribers.

He also maintained that Zain will continue to be the best mobile communications network in Sierra Leone. As a result of this promise, consequently a reduction in the cost of calls to all off -networks by 32%: from 28 units to just 19 units.  The reason for this reduction as the MD put it is “to take Zain to even the poorest people”.

Presently, Zain network covers 82% of the nation’s populace and has a wider vision of covering at least 95% particularly for areas where communication is no easy feat like it should be. Zain aims to make that difference in Sierra Leonean lives.

The Segment Manager, James Koroma promised that subscribers have not truly seen what Zain can do and admonished Zain customers to stay on the Zain network especially as they have come up with the grand ‘Fambul Tariff’ which enables one to talk more for less cash and now with this massive reduction in off network tariffs, Zain is undeniably the best.
