Community Radio Station for Biriwa

Reports have it that very soon there will be a community radio station for the people of Biriwa chiefdom. This was made known to Sierra Express Media by the consular officer in Spain, Mr. Ahmed Jalloh via telephone interview.

Mr. Jalloh disclosed that he is determined to help the people of Biriwa with a community radio so that they too can contribute to national development  that they can be informed with news around the

According to him, quite apart from a community radio station he also has plans to build a state of the art hospital in Bombali district where he hails from underlining that his love for his people and humanity cannot be over emphasized. He highlighted that over the years he has donated a 5 KVA generator to Kamabai Police Station was dark as a graveyard. Quite apart from that I have also donated drugs to Kamabai Health Center which has helped the people in no small measure.

He echoed that he had created employment opportunities for up to 100 people in Bombali district with lucrative salaries in the mining industry. I have plans to do more for my people in order to improve their lives he said. He affirmed that while in Spain he has done so much for illegal immigrant that have been coming to Spain who are Sierra Leoneans especially when they are in conflict with the law or their documents for which they are very much grateful.

He asserted that president Koroma’s government is on course underscoring that Sierra Leoneans in Spain are very much pleased. He dilated that over hundreds of Sierra Leoneans living in Spain are planning to return to Sierra Leone to contribute to nation building because according to them the government means well for the people. Consul Ahmed Jalloh will be returning to Spain this week.
