Modern Academy Assures Sierra Leoneans of Quality Education
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and proprietor of the aforementioned school, Mr. Ahmed Jalloh expressed his determination as an Elite to provide quality education to the future leaders of this country, in an exclusive interview by this medium. When asked about what inspired him to undertake such a challenging venture as a young patriotic Sierra Leonean, he responded by emphasizing on the special inspiration he got from his mum over the years and has courageously decided to actualize her dream though she had undertaken such venture, but in a rather small capacity. He continued by outlining the distinct languages and some of the modern facilities his school is willing and capable to offer, viz; English Language, Arabic, French with international standards are taught, computers and plasma TVs will be equipped with, modern toilet facilities are provided with unique playing ground, among others. When asked with regards the type of school he is operating, he waited in no time to reveal that it is a privately owned, coeducational school and that the project is a lasting one, due to the fact that he owns the land where the school is built and intends to expand this laudable venture across the country by the special Grace of God. The Head Teacher, Mr. Patrick Momoh, when asked to give a synopsis of the school, asserted that the Modern Academy is located at Jay Drive, via Ya Umu Lane, Rokel, which was officially opened with international standards on the 17th September, 2018, and assured Sierra Leoneans of providing sustainable quality education for their children at the Kindergarten and primary stages at present, though the Junior Secondary School (JSS) will commence operations next academic year. As part of his key note address in their first CTA meeting, he carefully outlined the following “I have deprived my family just to serve my country and humanity through community empowerments. I have high caliber of dedicated Academic pundits with vast knowledge in different fields within the teaching profession. This school is a long-term project that will maintain perpetual inheritance simply because I own the land. My aspiration for Modern Academy, God being my Helper, is for other private schools to emulate its admirable performances, ranging from the Kindergarten to the Senior Secondary School (SSS) level. The adequate provision of computers with internet facility, plasma TVs with educated movies and games will be made available come second term. I have been injecting my hard labored money into this project and I will continue till the dreams of my precious mum are actualized, which has prompted me to refer to such an undertaking as biologically motivated. In fact, my initial target of two hundred (200) pupils has been gainfully achieved.
Mrs. Gloria Jalloh, who is the Head of the Kindergarten, concluded by encouraging parents/ guardians within the Freetown Municipality to speed up and attain admission now as there are limited spaces available. She disclosed in an interview by this Press that, she is now the proud mother of more than two hundred and three (203) children and that she is well determined to better give them the prerequisite fundamentals that are needed, to better serve this country.
