Africell Leads And Others Follow
As always, the leading mobile telecommunications company in Sierra Leone, Africell has once again taken the lead in swiftly responding to the August 14th flood and mudslide disasters that hit some parts in the outskirts of the city Freetown that left hundreds of lives lost and many more injured and displaced. Africell, who were the first corporate institution to come to the aid of the victims and volunteers, has since been providing food that is badly needed on a daily basis feeding over 1,000 victims and volunteers with the number increasing every day.
It is therefore suffice to say that others are now following their good example after setting the pace. It is known all over the country that this is not the first time Africell is doing this kind of gesture as they have always responded to every kind of disaster that have befell this nation since they started operation. As the number one mobile company in the country, they have always ensured that they take the lead in whatever they are doing.
