Le50 M Bail For Sexual Penetrator
Magistrate Abu Bakarr Binneh Kamara of Court No.1, yesterday 22nd June, 2017 granted bail in the sum of fifty million Leones to 22 year old accused Komba Bamba. The accused was arraigned before Magistrate Dr. Abou Bhakarr Binneh Kamara on one count charge of Sexual Penetration of a child under the age of eighteen years Contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act of 2012.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused on the 8th of March 2017, at New Site Kingtom Police Barracks in Freetown had Sexual Penetration with a girl under the age of 18 contrary to law
According to the 10 year old victim in her testimony in court, she lived at Kingtom Police Barracks and she is in class three (3) and recalled on the 8th of March 2017, when she was at school but not feeling well, the accused wife ask her to bring water at home for them, which she did because she is a friend to the accused daughter.
The victim in her conclusive statement, told the Court that upon her arrival to the accused house, the accused hid her slippers and dragged her in to his bed room, removed her pant abuse her sexually and threatened to kill her if she tells anyone. But eventually her mother gets to know and the matter was reported at the Adelaide Street Police Station.
A medical form was issued to her and referred to the Rainbow center for examination and treatment.
