Sea Coach Express offers Free Eye treatment to Sierra Leoneans.

Sea Coach is offering Free Eye Clinic to all Sierra Leonean that has eye sight problem or wants to check their eyes in order to save their eyes from Blindness.

Speaking to a galaxy of Journalist on Friday 9th September 2016 at the Sea Coach Terminal in Aberdeen, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sea Coach Express, Olusengun Jaji stated that, as part of the commitment of Sea Boat Company Limited to the country, they are sponsoring the third Annual Eye Clinic to be held at the four different locations for twelve days.

“Any Sierra Leonean who has an eye problem should come along to any of the centers listed below, all  registration, examination, treatment cost as well as glasses will be covered by the sea coach express. Patients requiring eye surgery will receive treatment for FREE” he revealed.

He reiterated that, they particularly welcome any elderly, service personnel and students who are having vision problem to come benefit from this generous gesture. “If your vision is fine there is no harm in getting it checked as well, it is completely FREE” he disclosed.

The locations and dates are as follows:

ABERDEEN= at the Aberdeen Community Center on the 12th, 13th,  and 14th  September 2016 from 08:00am to 02:00pm.

JUI= at Jui Multipurpose Hall on the 15th, 16th, and 17th September 2016 from 0.8:00am to 0.2:00pm.

Freetown Peninsular(No.2 River) = at the Turay’s Compound from the 20th and 21st September 2016 form 0.8:00am to 0.2:00pm.

Lungi = At the Masoyila Community Center3 on the 22nd, 23rd, and 23rd September 2016 at 0.8:00am to 0.2:00pm.

The CEO noted that, his company is offering the Free Eye Clinic as a way of giving back to Sierra Leoneans “we are targeting the whole population, we want to develop this nation by giving good sight to Sierra Leoneans because a Country can only be developed when it’s population has a good vision” he noted.

He said they have done the budgeting for the process and that there is enough money for the project to go smoothly and be accomplished effectively and efficiently.

“We are doing this as part of our cooperate social responsibility, all the millions of leones we are spending is from our coffer, there is no implementing partner or assistance from any individual or organization” he underscored.

He continued that, all the medicines and glasses that will be given to patients are imported from the  Diaspora. He said they have hired the UMC Eye Hospital to administer drugs and give treatment to patients during the process.

“The UMC Eye Hospital is a reputable institution that I have trust in, because I have been  treated in that hospital when one of my eye was giving me problem and I was totally satisfied with the treatment” he praised.

He concluded by calling on all Sierra Leoneans to take advantage of the offer and eradicate Blindness in the Country.
