Bond Wurie Hits the USA in Grand Style
Potential Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) 2018 flag bearer, Ambassador Alhaji Umaru Bond Wurie has on Sunday 6th September receive a heroic and a rousing welcome from thousands of his supporters at the JFK international Airport in the United States of America after they have waited for hours to receive the Moses. Supporter flew from all 52 states to welcome the Moses as they call him. Bond who has just concluded his tour to Europe visited about six countries where he met with supporters and Party big guns.
This week he is expected to hold meetings in five states and his message will be about peace, unity and oneness of purpose within the SLPP.
Bond Wurie intention and plan to join the race for the party’s leadership throws a fresh matrix into the SLPP leadership struggle; with Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio and eight other who are of the same dream to lead the party.

According to the Global Campaign Chairman David Yusuf Mambu said the BUM Movement supports, advocates and campaigns for him because they believe that only a person with his experience, skills, knowledge, capacity and ability can if he becomes president lead the country into a new era of economic transformation, growth, job creation and social justice.
A credible national leadership the people desire is one that does not only have a great idea, but one that is capable of assembling a highly respected team of ministers and public administrators to bring that concept to life. That person must have a sound track record in both his personal and public life such is the person of Ambassador Wurie he said. He also pointed out that Ambassador Wurie has the youth at heart that why he join the race mainly because they have a lot of potential which other have been destroying by using and dumping them for their own selfish aim.
Meanwhile the former Ambassador to Germany, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia is expected to be in Freetown in two weeks time where he is expected to host a massive meeting at the party office in Freetown.
