Pobosky aim more goals after Europa exit
Sierra Leonean International and AIK Slona striker Mohamed Poborsky Bangura said he is not resting on his laurels after their exit from the Europa League 3rd rounds qualifiers where they suffered a 4-1 aggregate at the hands of their Greek opponent Aitrimotis FC.
Bangura who has scored seven goals so far in the Swedish Allsvenska is his club seconder behind fellow teammate and league top goal scorer H. Goitom who is leading the chart with 13 goals.
The skillful striker in an interview with this medium said he is happy with his team and personal progress and he is aiming to score more goals for the club.
“Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I am glad that we are progressing as a team and much happier because I am scoring,” Bangura said.
Bangura has been missing in action for the national team Leone Stars in recent times despite his impressive goals scoring record.
He is however unperturbed as he stated that his job whether for club or country is to score goals.
“I’m just doing my job. My goal and purpose is to score as much as possible and I will keep putting in my best effort to do that,” he stated.
