Liberia will be more convenient for us says Suma
Cross section of Leone Stars players, Sheriff Suma, Kelifa Jabbie, John Kamara, and injured Alhassan Kamara, have said it will be more advantageous for Leone Stars to play all their home games in neighboring Liberia than other venues that will be disadvantageous to the team; noting that Liberia and Sierra Leone have many features in common that will be of good use to the players.
Sherriff Suma, who has returned to his Asyrianska team back in Sweden after his deal in Norway, was halted due to work permit and stressed that they find it more difficult when they are playing all their home games in the same country with the team that they were all in the group as it was hard for the team even to click because of the home supporters were constantly booing at them and making things worse.
Suma highlighted that playing in Liberia will even give them ease to play as a team as Sierra Leoneans will travel to Liberia to support the team, and he said with their support we can turn hate to love by giving them what they have been yearning for the past years.
“However all is left to our FA to make all the necessary arrangements on time for the venue as it is most important to us,” he said.
