Sierra Leone qualifies for Rio 2016
Sierra Leonean, Morris Beale and his Swimming Association has been the first sporting discipline to book their tickets to have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic championship in Brazil next year after he came first with a record of 34.87 seconds out of ten contests from developed countries.
Beale who hit the target at the 16th FINA swimming world championship in the Breaststroke categories looked more confident of going to Rio to win the medal and not going to compete, despite with all constraint he make us proud said Secretary General of Sierra Leone Swimming Association Mohamed Turay.
We came here to make name for ourselves and country, a name that will take us to Brazil and now we have done it Morris said.
According to the scribe who affirmed the rest of the swimmers are in good shape and condition and will be undergoing advance training in readiness for the Rio games 2016.
