Apology and retraction
On the 9th June, 2014, Sierra Express Media published on our website a libelous article captioned: Celebrating World Environment Day, Is EPA Competent to Protect and Preserve Our Environment? In the said article, it was said the staff of EPA is reportedly ill-equipped both academically and technologically.
It was also said the majority of the employees have no direct relevance to green house emission, climate change, environmental degradation, conservation and green scenery. The article continued that the aforesaid reasons caused the ranking of Sierra Leone as being among the three most hazardous counties on environmental degradation and climate change. The article has been removed.
SEM wholeheartedly apologizes for all above documentation published on line and hereby retracts it.
SEM regrets any damage such publication would have caused the EPA.
