Sierra Wifi heightens service delivery
Managing Director of Sierra Wifi, Ishmael Bull, has said the company has heightened its service delivery.
He said as an internet company they have been doing business quietly while also trying to satisfy Sierra Leoneans by focusing on effective service delivery for people accessing the internet.
He emphasized that in the past Sierra Leoneans accessed the internet through the use of satellite, which he said was very expensive; the emergence of the Fibre Optic internet access is cheaper and faster.
He made this disclosure while addressing Journalists at his headquarter office at Wilkinson Road, Freetown.
Bull highlighted that his company’s mandate encompasses working with the government. That over 90 schools across the country have benefitted the use of the internet through Sierra Wifi. Some of the schools that benefitted in the use of the internet included Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG), Prince of Wales, Grammar School, Vine Memorial, Albert Academy and Girls High School, among others.
“I have hard working Sierra Leoneans in all parts of the country that are pushing hard to decentralize the internet countrywide,” Bull said.
He expressed optimism that Sierra Leoneans will begin to enjoy a much faster and affordable internet system through Sierra Wifi.
