PC Ballah Samma feeds 5,000 in Koinadugu
Paramount Chief Ballah Samma of Shenabeh Chiefdom Koinadugu recently fed 5,000. The beneficiaries included the poor, widows, vulnerable and amputees.
In his statement, PC Ballah Samma emphasized he is a true replica of his Late Father PC Alie Ballah Samma, who generously has served his people preceding his death years ago.
He reiterated, however, that he has certainly stepped into the shoes of his father and will forever seek the interests of people of Koinadugu.
“This is not my first time assisting people of Koinadugu,” PC Ballah Samma said.
“To me, helping the poor and needy is inherent. I inherited it from my family since childhood.”
He further stated that for the past 5 years he has had joyous moments helping the poor and needy every Friday of the week.
He noted also that he has on a number of occasions fed the poor and less unfortunate people. That it has become a tradition to him feeding the less privileged of society, and will continue doing so even at retirement.
He called on charitable organizations, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs to join him in the fight to eradicate poverty and hunger in society.
He said the bulk of the people in Chiefdoms and communities in Kionadugu are poor and have school going children that need urgent humanitarian support.
The ceremony attracted indigenes from number of Chiefdoms in Koinadugu. Foday Dabboh and Fatu Kamara solemnly spoke on behalf of the poor, vulnerable, amputees and needy of society.
