Constituency 110 Nerve Center Of Excellence

Constituency 110 in the Western Urban electoral district of Sierra Leone, in Freetown has become the nerve center of the All Peoples Congress (APC) success.

One unique thing about this constituency is that it has consistently carried the highest votes for the ruling APC in the past parliamentary elections.

Apart from providing the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in the name of Hon. Chernor Maju Bah, this constituency has also been one of the most peaceful constituencies despite it hosting heterogeneous groups.

The constituency has become a shining example for others to emulate for breaking tribal barriers by having a Fullah as its Member of Parliament defying all odds of attaining power in Freetown.

For this choice, the constituency has been one of the most effectively represented constituencies in the country. Who knows by 2017 what the constituency will produce for Sierra Leone?

There can be no better representation for that constituency as of now because the present MP through hard work has always extended a benign hand to his constituents and even beyond.

For him, he ventured into politics to adequately represent his people and that has saw him eclipsing his colleague parliamentarians in terms of output and delivery.

The Honourable is no longer a mean feat in the politics of Sierra Leone as he is one of those MPs that within a short spell in parliament is able to carve a niche for himself, a development which made him go unopposed during the last electoral college elections.

Not that he is unchallengeable, but because he is the man of the moment and his people believe in him.

They believe that with his representation, more pupils would benefit from scholarships, the community from more recreational facilities, potable drinking water, better roads and many other interventions.

Many political observers see the Hon. as one of the best of our time who epitomizes unity,   development and faithfulness.

Such attributes made him to be nominated Deputy Speaker by his political opponent, the Minority Leader in Parliament which shows that he also wields support from the opposition.

A bright prospect stands ahead of him. His colleague MPs and contemporaries consider him as the man who will save them from their predicament due to his traits and virtues.

Because of this, he is enjoying a thriving relationship both within Parliament and outside.

He can memorize the names of almost all his acquaintances and accommodates all shades of opinions.

The Honourable is such a politician that can fit in the minds of Sierra Leoneans especially those who hold the view that politicians are there to solve their problems. One attribute he possesses that can hardly be found in most politicians is that Hon.

Chericoco never mince his words when he opens his mouth to speak.

His conviction is that he serves Allah and not man and as long as he is doing Allah’s will, he fears no son or daughter of man.

The Hon. is on record to have awarded the most scholarships within and outside  his constituency and for which he has been rated as a philanthropist by his admirers even though  his detractors  believe that there is a lot to offer within  the constituency.

Being a credible character, the Hon has also headed one of Sierra Leone’s most prestigious organizations, “All Walks of Life’ (AWOL), a non-profit  making organization geared towards salvaging the plight of not only fellow Sierra Leoneans but also encouraging them to work in the best interest of the country.

Annually, those who excel in their various careers are awarded for their meritorious services to the Nation.

Being also the youngest Sierra Leonean to occupy the seat of Deputy Speaker of the House of Parliament, the Hon. has proved critics wrong that the Sierra Leonean youth too can perform to expectation if given the opportunity.

He is an embodiment of hope for the youths of Sierra Leone and perhaps, the sub-region.

He is a fulfillment of the dreams of President Koroma in giving power to the youth for which we strongly believe the greatest is behind for Sierra Leone from him.
