Sierra Leone Excellence Awards 2013 -30th November 2013 8pm-2am
Sierra Leone Excellence Awards (SLEA) is back again this year, bigger and better for our 5th year anniversary. Following the success of SLEA since 2009 -2012 the board of trustees decided this year the 2013 awards will focus on individuals living in London.
This year we have the honour of being sponsored by Jumbo UK our executive sponsor, and we are working in partnership with Salone True Fans and many more.
Many Sierra Leoneans in the UK have collectively engaged in a major reconstruction effort to see the country back to its former glory.
These awards are in recognition of those having fought ceaselessly to attain the new level of reconstruction and rehabilitation both Home and in the Local Community in the diaspora. The awards are diverse with different categories of winners emerging from various industries.
We’ve introduced new categories this year such as Best UK Movie Premier, Best community social event and many more.
Beffta Award winner Alim kamara and Motivational Speaker Edwina Momoah will be hosting the Awards Ceremony.
In addition to Entertaining our guests we have Famous (kopo don) and Nasser Ayoub (tranga yase borbor) coming From Sierra Leone to grace our Guests with a classical Performance. We also have London’s Top RNB Musician Alonzo Performig his hit songs on the nIght. We also Team Salut, FTFreshmusic, Cece, Plan X, Usifu Jalloh and Comedian H.E Tommy Massaquoi.
Special Guests include, Sierra Leone High Commissioner, Ghana High Commissioner, Gambia High Commissioner, Kei Kamara, Ellen Thomas and many more.
