General Sfano’s dream of taking Michael Jackson’s mantle realized

Dreams of the Sierra Leonean King of Pop, General Sfano (in photo) revealed in the Sierra Eye Magazine a few years ago that he was asked by Michael Jackson in a dream to take his place as the next King of Pop of the world seems to have become a reality.

According to fans who watched the Pop Star perform at the Miss Freetown beauty show at the Miatta Conference hall at Brookfield’s in Freetown on Saturday, November 2 this year, the resemblance in both features and dance styles of the two men was very similar.

They said they were highly thrilled by the performance of General Sfano and his daughter, Rosetta Njawa, popularly known as “Sweet Rose.

They also said that of General Sfano cleans up the skin to have a fair complexion and straightens his nose the people will look so like Michael Jackson than people will think Michael Jackson has come back to life.

A speech from the musical album, “Better late than never,” was played as an introduction to the Pop Star’s performance.

It reads: “Ladies and gentlemen, I wish to thank you for being reasonable to get a rightful copy of this musical album.

By this, you have displayed your love, concern and contribution in making our dreams for the vulnerable children and the development of this country.

The Sfano-Michael Jackson is here to help!

Michael Jackson is physically dead and you all know but his influence has sprang so many great people and his passion for humanity and the children in particular which was established through music, drama and cultural performances exists.

I am here to help it continue through the Sfano-Michael Jackson Children’s Development Fund for our own good.

Please keep on supporting us and once again thanks for supporting us.”

The fans said they were pleased with the speech and say they are calling on all Journalists, to help promote the aims and objectives of the Sfano-Michael Jackson Children’s Development Fund.

They maintained that they believe that General Sfano will emerge from Sierra Leone to make more impact in the entertainment industry by reminding people of Michael Jackson better than any other musician or performer globally.

Meanwhile, General Sfano and his dance team will soon release the videos of “My Diva” and “Everybody must farm.”
