‘2013 Golf Open is mine’ Paul Kargbo claims
The Captain of the Freetown Golf Club, Professional Category, Mr. Paul Kargbo, has told this paper that immediately after his training session he is going to win the 2013 Golf Open.
He was the Runner Up in the 2011 Golf Open when he lost to a Ghanaian, Mr. Gordon Sie.
“I’m currently undergoing intensive training daily and I’m optimistic that nobody will stop me from winning the tournament after I have been crowned thrice as runner-up,” he challenged.
He noted that his colleagues were also training everyday to be in top form so that they will crush their opponents in the competition.
He revealed that this much trumpeted and eagerly awaited 2013 Golf Open Tournament will be hosted at the Freetown Golf Club from November 26 to December 1 this year. He appealed to all Sierra Leoneans to go in their thousands and throw their support behind their Sierra Leonean brothers and cheer them to victory.
