APC Youth league pays courtesy call on Usu Boie
The National Youth League of the All Peoples Congress (APC) has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Trade and Industry at his Youyi building office in Freetown past Thursday 18th.
The youth league congratulated Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara on his success and his strides to foster development in the country. Executive representative of the league extolled the minister for his innovation in the ministry especially the establishment of the routine visits to industries and factories across the country.
The youth requested the minister to look into the unemployment situation that is plaguing the youths of this nation. They ended by praying that the minister succeeds in his endeavor.
In his reaction, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara expressed his deepest appreciation for the visit and assured the youth of his continued interest in youth activities. He noted that the youth of this country are a priority to the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
The Minister revealed that throughout his routine visits and everywhere he goes he raises the concern of youth unemployment.
He further disclosed that on his recent trip to China, bilateral arrangements were made to establish industries and other institutions that will cushion the effect of youth unemployment in the country. He encouraged the youth to be steadfast in their respective careers and be law abiding.
