FPU Regional Chairman-East donates Qurans to Daru mosque

The Fullah Progressive Union-Eastern province chairman, Alhaji Mohamed Petteh Jalloh (Jamboria) of 104 Hangha Road, Kenema, made a courtesy visit to the people of Daru Jawei Chiefdom, Kailahun District.  The chairman and his executives thanked the Daru people for sending an invitation letter to FPU-East to grace the opening ceremony of the Badru-Deen Mission mosque, built recently in Daru town.

The FPU-Eastern chairman thanked the Almighty God for the strength and the finances which the mission utilized to construct the Badru-Deen mosque. He also thanked the chiefdom paramount chief, the Honorable Member of Parliament in that constituency, the councilor, the land owning family, the community people and the Muslims who make it a point of duty to patronize with the Badru-Deen Mission to build the mosque and the school.

The chairman of the FPU-East later admonished the Muslims to fear Allah in anything that they are doing. He again admonished the people to pray in the mosque, teach the women and children how to pray and understand Allah.

Alhaji Mohamed Petteh Jambori Jalloh handed over copies of the Holy Qur’an to the organizers of the programme for onward handling over to the mosque and the Badru-Deen Mission as a special gift made to FPU-East. He later promised that FPU will always work with Badru-Deen Mission and any other Islamic mission that will have similar plans like the Badru-Deen Mission.

The Regional Secretary-General of the FPU-East, Kamal M. Barrie made the introduction of FPU executives; Mohamed Jummah Jalloh-Organizing Secretary, Mohamed Alpha Jalloh- PRO, Sulaiman Jalloh-Social Secretary, Alhaji Saidu Barrie- Auditor 1 and Pa Alpha Jalloh-Elder. These people were part of the team that moved with FPU chairman in Jawie Chiefdom, Daru town.
