President’s Tournament Commences at Golf Club

In the Golf category, junior and senior caddies, professionals, amateur ladies and men competed for the prestigious competition.
“U-15’s competed in the squash competition and amateurs engaged in the tennis competition.
Speaking to this press, the president of the Freetown Golf Club who also happens to be the Managing Director of the Aureole Insurance Company (AIC), Mr. Solomon Samba said he is organizing three in one sporting disciplines namely Golf, Squash and Tennis because as the president of the Freetown Golf club it is his duty to give all sporting disciplines the opportunity to compete in his competition.
He praised both the just concluded Ladies Captain and Johnnie Walker Golf Tournament as highly successful.
“Freetown Golf Club can now boast of many participants because it is better organized and the competition is not always about winning but to participate in an Olympian spirit,” he said.
The popular and dynamic president assured all that the competition will be colourful and prizes will be distributed to various winners on Saturday evening, 23rd February 2013, at the Golf Club complex.
