Bo City Councils bans social activities in schools

Bo, (SLENA): As a temporary measure to maintain discipline in schools, the City Council of Bo has imposed a ban on all social activities in schools in Bo city.

This was disclosed by the Bo City Mayor, Councillor Tucker during the annual gathering of Ahmadists of the Ahmaddiyya Muslim Mission which event took place in Bo, last weekend.

The Mayor declared that in order ensure discipline in schools in the city of Bo his council has temporarily banned all social activities in schools such as picnics and sports.

Also speaking at the conference was Bishop Humper of the UMC Mission who recalled the part played by religious leaders to usher in peace during the infamous rebel war when they prevailed on the RUF rebel leader, Corporal Foday Sankoh to see reason and end the carnage in Sierra Leone.
