Korean delegation pays courtesy call on Vice President Sierra Leone

Freetown, February 7 (SLENA): A delegation from a South Korean company, “Make Group” has paid a courtesy call on the Vice President at his Tower Hill office in Freetown.

The delegation was led by Mr. Omrie Golley and the Chairman of Make Group Company, James Juhee Han.

Introducing members of the delegation, Mr. Golley described Make Group as a company based in South Korea that deals with power generation and infrastructural projects.  He lauded government’s effort in creating the avenue for investors in Sierra Leone and expressed hope that after few months of the establishment of the company in the country, government will realize the right dividends.

In his statement, Chairman of the Make Group Company, James Juhee Han said Sierra Leone has developed lots more than before and commended H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for his relentless effort in developing the country.

He gave his company’s commitment to be part of the development process of Sierra Leone and appealed to the government of Sierra Leone to give total support to their project, adding that he wished to make Sierra Leone as his second home.

Welcoming the delegation, Vice President Alhaji SanuelSamsumana thanked Mr. Golley for bringing into the country such investors as Sierra Leone is a country that is interested in development and will welcome any well-meaning investors to help promote development in the country.

 Vice President SamSumana said the country faces some challenges, but however looking at the opportunities if Sierra Leone creates partnership with the South Korean company the two parties will stand to benefit.

While assuring the new partners of the government’s continued support, the Vice President expressed hope that all their plans would be translated into success stories as they commence operations in the country.
