Shepherd’s Hospice Sierra Leone – A Success Story
Stigmatization is a thing of the past that has led to the successes of treatment of HIV/AIDS in Sierra Leone through the support of International Donor Partners and the HIV/AID office in Sierra Leone.
Speaking to the media, the M&E Officer of the Shepherds Hospice Sierra Leone at Allen Town, Mr. Victor Momoh Giama, said their institution has been a success story for the past 10 years.
He commended the management of Shepherd Hospice Sierra Leone for their service to the community in the past years.
Mr. Victor Momoh Giama noted that they are co-operating with the HIV/AID’s office in Sierra Leone under the leadership of Dr. Brima Kargbo. He noted that in the community they find themselves receive free service as they continue to administer the confidential treatment with victims that are tested HIV/AIDS positive.
He called on all Sierra Leoneans to embrace all HIV/AIDS patients while cautioning them that if Sierra Leone should succeed each and every one should find him/her self active in dispensing responsible duties.
He called on all to stop the PHD syndrome but rather to elevate in championing leadership roles at our various committees.
Meanwhile, Mr. Victor Momoh Giama has commended his boss who is described as a servant of the Shepherds Hospice Sierra Leone which he said has lead to the success story of the institution.
