Dad impressed with Rodney Strasser’s comeback
James Strasser the biological father of AC Milan and Leone Stars ace mid fielder Rodney Strasser, has told this press that he is delighted to see his son in action in an Italian cup match against Regiana at San Siro after several months of ankle injury.
The ex-EE Lions, Arsenal, and Leone Stars legend said he thanks God that his son is finally back in action for his club and he is optimistic that he will soon be available for the country as well.
AC Milan defeated Regiana 3-1 in the Italian cup on 13th December at San Siro and Rodney played for 75 minute before he was substituted. His mum, Madam Aminata Strasser, brothers Herbert and Clifford Strasser whilst viewing the match live on DSTV fell into tears of joy for their beloved’s comeback and his contribution in the match which earned his team victory.
“I thank family members, friends, fans and Sierra Leoneans who have been praying for my son’s speedy recovery ” James Strasser said.
AC Milan is currently in the 7th position in the Italian Serier “A” League with 24 points, and 14 points below league leaders Juventus. Meanwhile, Rodney has assured his dad that his club is big and that they will battle for a champion’s league position before the end of the season.
