Over $94M Road Construction Project…President Koroma Assures Sierra Leoneans
In his campaign trails to the northern disposition of the country, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma on Saturday revealed to party supporters, sympathizers, and loyalists, that his government has awarded $94M road network project contract to CSE group.
He made this disclosure while addressing a joint section of thirteen townships of the districts of Kamakwie, Kamalo, Kalangba, Kamaranka, and Gbendembu, Gowahun, etc.
According to the project plan, the exercise will see road construction from across the Makeni Township, unto Madina Oula, which happens to be a border town leading to the sister republic of Guinea. The project is believed to be, according to its agreement, a standard road network project.
The President noted that in his earlier days vying for the seat of trust, he made a promise to the various chiefdoms to allay their challenges. He furthered that, it is the principal reason why he had ordered for the construction of this road that has been labeled a death trap.
The President sited his development strides in the last five years in governance ranging from the heap of success in Energy, Agriculture, Free Health Care, Infrastructure, over many others.
The President called the people of the township to endorse his second term aspiration in office and see this nation move from pillar to post through his new policy ‘the agenda for prosperity’.
