Brima Keita Trophy, Y2K to Engage Janet Lane Today
The quarter finals of the Brima Keita football competition at the K-T playing field Kingtom will commence today between Janet Lane and the unbeaten Y2K FC at 4:30 pm local time.
In the 2nd round matches, Y2K were held to a 3-3 draw and qualified 4-2 on post game penalties while Janet Lane defeated Crab Town 2-0.
The head coach of Y2K told Sierra Express Media Sports that today’s match is a difficult one but he is optimistic that he will progress to the semi finals as he has the squad to withstand any opponent.
On Wednesday 3rd October 2012 Bike Riders Union will engage Big Barrick. Thursday 4th October Israel FC will battle it out with Premier FC and on Friday 5th October Byrne Street will duels Congo Market.
The semi finals will commence on Saturday 13th October and grand finale is slated for Sunday 21st October at the same venue.
The champions of the Brima Keita Competition will be rewarded with a trophy and the sum of Le3 million, Runners-up a trophy and the sum of Le1.5 million and the 3rd place winner will grab the sum of Le500,000 respectively and there will be 60 certificates to grab including the two finalists and individuals, chief organizer, Alhaji Tarawally revealed.
