NDA set for parliamentary and cabinet seats
The newly appointed running mate of the National Democratic Alliance Party (NDA), Mohamed Sidique Kabbah (in photo) has told a cross section of the media that the party is set to gain parliamentary and cabinet seats in the next government.
He noted that his party is amassing support each day that passes by, all in the name of boarding the train of change which the NDA has come to deliver to the people of this country.
He said the people of this nation have discarded the ideology of putting square pegs in round holes, adding that now is the time to entrust the people with positions of trust in the NDA.
The aspirant who was born in Kenema District attended the Kenema Government Secondary School, expressed his concern for the district which he described as moribund even though the area is scaled with high revenue generation.
He argued if he gets into the governance structure, he will ensure that what Kenema District is due in terms of development is accorded accordingly. He pointed out that the size and importance of Kenema is not commensurate with the little infrastructural development that is on-going in the district.
Being the CEO of African Mining Construction and Agro Development (SL) Ltd., the appointed running mate promised to improve the mining sector if his party is voted to victory in the November 17 polls.
The mining guru with fifteen years of experience in International Explorations and Mining promised that the country’s mineral resources will be utilized to develop the country.
Kabba shares a dual religious background which makes him socially balanced in representing the interest of the two leading religions in the country.
“We will prioritize education when we come into governance, said Kabbah, who was senior prefect of K-School in the early 90s.
