“I’ll not abandon Constituency 102” – Hon. Eustace King
Freetown, August 24 (SLENA): Hon. Eustace King debunked rumors that he was abandoning his constituency 102 for another, which is constituency 94 in Waterloo rural. He assured his constituents that he will continue to stay and represent constituency 102 in the next parliament.
The Kissy MP gave this assurance while outlining some of the development initiatives he has implemented in his constituency in line with President Koroma’s agenda for change.
Speaking to SLENA recently, the Member of Parliament said he has provided scholarships to students of both secondary and tertiary institutions and funded the construction of a foot bridge in that constituency.
In the area of employment, the Kissy MP said he has empowered many youths including the provision of football kits, adding that he personally assisted land slide victims with financial support.
“I believe in the people that voted me into power and I will not let them down,” Hon. King re-affirmed.
Also, on a similar trend, the Member of Parliament for Constituency 33 in the Bombali district, Hon. Sulaiman Sesay has given detail account of the development activities he has undertaken in his constituency during his five year tenure.
Explaining to our SLENA reporter, Hon Sesay outlined a number activities that included the rehabilitation of feeder roads, the construction of an agricultural business centre and the establishment of a senior secondary school at Makromaray, among many others.
He the provision of scholarships to students in his constituency formed part of his development agenda and thanked the government and other non-government organizations for supporting his development programmes.
