Son of murdered Inspector General declares open protest campaign
Son of murdered Inspector General of Police, Julius Bambay on Wednesday July 25 said in Freetown that they have begun their long journey of protest action over the summary execution of twenty nine Sierra Leoneans, including his father without following the due course of the law in December of 1992 by the National Provisional Ruling Council (NPRC) then headed by Captain Valentine Strasser and co.
Julius Bambay Kamara (on photo) said they are determined this time to get the government on its toes to ordering an inquest, establishing the arbitrary killing of their parents without being tried in a court of law.
On Wednesday they crammed at the main Freetown city square ‘Cotton Tree’, in what they called a move to attract attention of the government and other bodies that would intervene to give the issue a neat burial.
Julius Bambay Kamara denies acting under the influence of the current ruling system in painstaking the issue to garner a political blueprint against Julius Maada Bio, as many keeps alluding that their moves are keen to wane his popular support ahead of the November 17 elections.
“We have not asked for much, all we are asking for is justice. The killers of our father are alive they must be made to face justice for their miscalculations” he braced.

Dear Mr. Bambay Kamara Jr, I do sympathize with you regarding the death of your father, The way his life was taken no child would like. But also you should do a reserch on the acitivites of your dad when his was Head of the Police Force. Question what did my father do to other that their lives were lost? Was my father involved in the death of Dr. Fornah & others what role did he play as the Head of Police in the trial and execution of those great men? My brother do some research about some of these things I mentioned. God does not sleep nor slunder. What we do in secret shall one day come to light. Also, what ever seed one sow that he or she shall reap. Blood that is spilled innocently will cry for a revenge. Think on these things and ask God for revelation.
