Mohamed Kallon Scolded Over H3 Hummer

It is exactly three years ago since former Leone Stars skipper launched his “Moe Tea” sales promotion campaign in conjunction with his charity brand, the Mohamed Kallon Children’s Foundation (MKCF).

The sales promotion was carried with a raffle staking a H3 Hummer vehicle as star prize for the grand winner. The Moe Tea product has tea bags, cups, fliers, T-shirts, caps in the promotion to the onset stage of the raffle.

Several participants partook on various reasons: the love for children and promoting their cause; and the immense regard and respect Mohamed Kallon has as the country’s ever loyal football skipper.

It seems Mohamed Kallon wanted to capitalize on the fame excuse to cheat others. Since the raffle was announced, a draw was supposed to have been held in May 2010. Up till this moment, the prizes and grand winner are yet to be announced. It is alleged that Mohamed Kallon is spotted using the H3 Hummer vehicle staked as star prize for personal use.

Sierra Express Media has been speaking to a certain Mr. John who is in charge of the Mohamed Kallon Group of Companies regarding some of those complaints the subscribers have been making. A certain Mr. Sam, who is currently residing in the United States of America for example called and recorded his frustration over what he called “the rogue attitude of Mohamed Kallon” in this sense. Sam said he bought plenty of boxes of Moe Tea product with keen interest to win the star prize, the Hummer H3, but was surprised and thwarted on the level of sudden twist the raffle takes, but he decided to take the issue with Mr. John in charge of the Mohamed Kallon Group of Companies. He quoted him as promising to compensate him personally, but in the final analysis, he thought all the participants have been cheated upon.

The Group of Companies is challenged that it acted in guise of a 419er since the raffle came to a standstill; it has published no position statement in the form of a press release or placed a public alert notice informing the participants on what they should be expecting.

John of the MKGC promised to get to SEM on the phone, which he has not done.

Meanwhile the company is being put into submission in demand to have it publish a press notice regarding the raffle or risk being in the position of a negative campaign.
