My Area FC Qualifies to Quarter Finals in the Hon. Dauda Tombo Bangura League Trophy
One of the favorite underdogs in the ongoing Hon. Dauda Tombo Bangura League Trophy, My Area FC has progressed through to the quarter finals ahead of Farmer Lane and Crab Tong FC who still need to battle it out to the final group matches before their faiths are guaranteed beyond the group stage.
My Area FC comprising of foreign based players, premier and youthful players, qualified with 7 points after defeating Babadorie FC 3-0, narrowly beating Kamayama and were held to 1-1 draw with Garden Drive FC in their final group matches.
Speaking to the Team Manager of the club, Thomas Daddy Brima (in photo), popularly known as “Mac-Dad” he told Sierra Express Sports that they have the best team in the competition and that his boys are far better than the rest of the other teams and he is hopeful to clinch the giant and glittering Hon. Dauda Tombo Bangura Trophy.
He appealed to all supporters of the club to always abide by the dictates of the law before, during, and after every match. Thomas Daddy Brima is a popular football manager who also revealed to his supporters at MAFA that he will be aspiring for the mayoral position under the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party, come November 17th 2012.
In today’s match at the MAFA playing field, Celtic FC and Leone Stars striker, Mohamed Pobosky Bangura will play alongside Sunda Drive FC against Juba FC.
