Mid Week Premier Leagues: FC Kallon, Kissy All Stars Gain Away Points, but Kamboi Eagles Thrash Edwards

Wednesday 6th June 2012, three Premiership matches were played across the country.  Kissy All Stars moved from relegation after a 1-1 draw away with Wusum Stars in Makeni. The same day, FC Kallon were held to a 0-0 draw with Bo Rangers at the Bo coronation field in Bo.

The most surprise package of the day was when visiting Kamboi Eagles (in photo) thrashed in form Old Edwardians FC 3-0 at the National Stadium.

Speaking to the master tactician of Kamboi Eagles, Coach Mustapha Kaisamba said this victory is important to them as they performed well as compare to the past two years. He expressed optimism that he would win all the remaining matches both at home and away.

He thanked the players for their tremendous performance and assured all fans that the team will now continue to excel in their future matches. The competition will commence again on Friday 8th June 2012 across the country.

Diamond Stars are currently leading the table with 31 points after playing 15 matches, and FC Kallon who lays second position also have 31 points but have played one match less (14matches).
