Over Momoh Konte’s ACC indictment… Koinadugueans to meet President Koroma
A team comprising Paramount Chiefs, bike riders, youths and market women from Koinadugu District has disclosed plans to pay a courtesy visit to President Koroma in the central District of Freetown to express their dissatisfaction over what they called the ACC’s scapegoat policy approach by indicting a son of their soil, Momoh Kemoh Konte.
The proposed meeting was borne out of the seven count charges levied by Anti-Corruption Commission against their son, which they consider as a deliberate ploy to assassinate the personality and character trait of Momoh Konte.
Momoh is considered by his people as a man of the people whose development initiatives have helped many poor people across the country.
Speaking on behalf of the bike riders union of Koinadugu District Alphajor Bah said they can’t sit idly by and see the ACC play deceit on their hero who is currently constructing four classrooms building in Ferendugu, Sinkunia, Bafodia and Heremakor, talk less of his numerous scholarships awards he has dished to many poor deserving students in the District.
Alphajor said jobless youths have benefited from Momoh Konte’s kind gestures as sometime ago, he donated bikes to them a donation which has transformed their lives into useful beings.
