State insecurity – Bio’s arms deal fear and Musa Tarawally’s strategies
A losing situation abounds the Sierra Leonean society on their security status, following recent controversies surrounding the arms deal with a shroud of motives.
The opposition flagman, Julius Maada Bio has already blown the whistle over his security as implicating statements from the Internal Affairs Minister Musa Tarawally (in photo) seems to be targeting him personally for execution.
It could be recalled that Musa Tarawally made a statement in the International Media recently that the recent arms import to empower the police was detailed for them to contain Maida Bio’s movements in the country.
Maada Bio has a military background and it is feared by the APC that he might mobilize stooges to strike against the ruling All Peoples Congress should the National Electoral Commission deny him victory in the November polls.
This vague reason is seen as a big yam to chew as the APC has begun foreseeing Maada Bio’s victory even before the elections are held. This gives a cause for concern as statements coming from no less a person than the Internal Affairs Minister seems to suggest that the ruling system is going to convert the police’s bias to stage-manage a political unrest in the country. all in the name of politics.
Maada Bio has a sound note in his alarm notice and nobody should underestimate it as the person of Musa Tarawally, known to be a key strategist will convert every possibility to achieve a purpose.
We are not indicting the APC of having rough plans for the peace of this country. What we are merely saying is the fact that they have certain individuals with a cabal of operatives that have deadly records.
In their quests to satisfy the APC, they can resort into anything just to be in the good books of their godfather President Koroma. We have elements showing that Musa Tarawally is behaving as if he is more Catholic than the Pope, which means he is stretching every nerve to meet his quests.
We cannot turn a blind eye and let Musa Tarawally besiege this nation with his ideology of violence only for him to enjoy a political mainstay.
We at Sierra Express Media demand that President Koroma relieve him of his duties as a state official and throw him to the ICC for his violent deeds.
Musa is an opportunist and wants to succeed at the expense of society by selling brutalism. The people of this country have suffered the brunt of an 11 years civil war; we will not like any state official to remind us of mistakes of the past, all in the name of skimming his political whims and caprice.

Thanks for this information Mr. Bangura, but why blame the people that sells the arms. The blame goes to the institution ordering the arms to butcher their own people. My questions to the Sierra Leone government of EBK are, why are you buying brand new sophisticated arms for the ISU (police division) when the UN has assisted your nation to get rid of some of the same arms that have destroyed & paralyzed your nation; who are your enemies that you want to use these new acquired arms against? Did the SLPP termed you as “enemies of the State of Sierra Leone” in 2007? Did the SLPP buy new arms for the elections in 2007 when the security situation was, of more concern then, after the senseless war? Are the SLPP, PDMC, UDM, RFU, & other political parties the enemies of Sierra Leone that you want to use your new weapons against, or do you want to use your newly acquired sophisticated arms against the people of the South and East by using sons of thw South & east in the likes of Tarawally & Nyuma to do your handiwork? Why are the special police forces 99.9% Northerners trained by Ghaddafi’s men in Kambia being equipped with these new weapons? Are you, Mr. President & your team want to use these arms to destroy our people in the Southern & Eastern Provinces as a revenge to the mayhem done by Colonel MUSA and others in the Northern Province during the senseless war, or as a pretext to forcefully establish your “ONE PARTY system”? Mr. President, I do want to remind you of Governor Clarkson’s Prayer for Sierra Leone, and also please read the historical wars in Sierra Leone. We the Southerners, Easterners and some of our brothers in the North will not, I mean will not allow your plan against our people to materialize, in Jesus Name.
Sierra Leaneans, whether a Northerner, Southerner or Easterner, let us be vigilant,open your eyes and ears as to where our nation is heading again. If we allow another war, we as a nation will ever remain to regret it. May the mercies and favor of God, Almighty speak for our nation Sierra Leone, Amen!

For arms dealing, the Russian who was selling arms and ammunitions to people that ended up in some part of Africa, has been jailed today in the US court. Serge Muller of Belgium who sold some of the ammunitions to the APC government, is next we are going after. Soon, you will hear it.
