2012 – 2013 Scholarship Nomination Call (from Sierra Leone to any part of the World)

Dear Pupils, Students, Undergraduates, Graduates, Educationists, Potential Employees and Grant Seekers of Sierra Leone.

Greeting from the Messianic Ambassadors for Africa (MAFA) Sierra Leone Chapter!

The Messianic Ambassadors for Africa (MAFA) is a faith based institution that is structured in terms of consistency in principles and commitment to humanity which informs our work, thoughts, activism in crying for Divine Justice on behalf of Individual Lives, Families, the Body of Christ, Israel and other nations including Sierra Leone; advocating and working to improve children nutritional status to prevent irreversible damage, Health, Education, Rights, Research and Cash transfer as part of our broader social protection programmes in tackling poverty and its transmission over generations and over a life course through a coordinated Network in making Childhood Poverty a History.

In April 2011, the Messianic Ambassadors for African (MAFA) Sierra Leone Chapter embarked on Developing a Country Strategy Paper (CSP) 2011 – 2015 to prepare an institutional paper that guides its spiritual and social development strides.

Addressing issue four: How Can the Church be Actively involved to Building a Well Educated and enlightened Society? Of the Country Strategy Paper 2011 – 2015, the institution have consented to set-up the Messianic Scholarship Programme for Humanity to support the improvement of both the quality and quantity of the human resources of Sierra Leone, through widespread provision of and equitable access to quality education and other essential social service for all eligible citizens of Sierra Leone. Obviously, this is considered to be a substantial amount of investment and a considerable effort to redress traditional gender biases and other forms of inequalities that militate against equitable access to social services. A well-educated and innovative population that is endowed with a vibrant entrepreneurial class, high labor productivity and an inclination towards wealth accumulation should characterize the desired society.

To achieve this desired state of affairs, the institution is pleased to launch this call for nomination to ensure the public is aware of the existence of the Messianic Scholarship Programme for Humanity and to take positive advantage of the opportunities contain therein. The Scholarship programme facilitates the process of securing possible scholarship for students and education activists to pursue International study at: Secondary, Undergraduate, Graduate, Post-graduate, PhD and Doctorate level of education available all around the world.

This opportunity is open to all young people, adults and the aged who are physically and mentally fit citizens of Sierra Leone, willing to pursue their studies at any level and in any part of the world.

Conclusively, a very minimal non-refundable processing fee would be required for each applicant and for each scholarship application attempt. All applicants would be linked directly with our International Scholarship partners and be notified accordingly about the status of each application lodged. Applications are open throughout the year from Monday – Saturday 9:00am – 6:00pm.
